Membership of SOLLA is open only to Financial AdvisersThere are 2 categories of Membership Full Membership Associate Membership Full MembershipFull Membership is only available to those financial advisers who have already attained Later Life Adviser Accreditation [LLAA] and can satisfy SOLLA of their professional commitment to the area of Later Life advice. Individuals will qualify for free full membership in the year following their successful completion of the Later Life Adviser Accreditation. Associate MembershipAssociate membership is available for a maximum of one year to those financial advisers who are working towards Later Life Adviser Accreditation. What are the benefits of SOLLA Associate Membership?Associate Membership is available for a maximum of one year – until you proceed with the Later Life Adviser Accreditation, or you are perhaps obtaining the necessary qualifications. This is an excellent way to get to know the society and we will keep you up to date with developments in the market (as well as training and networking opportunities) whilst you build up your CPD – so that you are in a better position to assess the benefits of taking the accreditation in a years’ time. Associate Members also have full access to the Members area of the website, and receive preferential membership rates for SOLLA training courses. You will also be entitled to use a version of the SOLLA logo which has the designation “Associate”. SOLLA will support you by making training and updates available to specifically help you towards achieving accredited status. Your details will not appear on the SOLLA website or be made available to the public through any of our promotional activities until you are a full member, but you may openly state that you are an Associate Member of SOLLA.How much does Membership cost?Membership fees are as follows: Full Membership Your first years’ membership is free upon achieving Later Life Adviser Accreditation. Thereafter, the annual membership fee is £20 Associate Membership Available for one year only at a cost of £150 Once your position regarding Later Life Accreditation is determined, advisers should fill in our Application Form which will then be considered by members of the committee. Once your membership has been approved, you will have full access members’ area and if you are a full member your details will be made available to the public on this website.
